On 6th May 2011, Thep Sombat Co., Ltd. (Sombat Tour) received an award of the best operator for excellent standard category without accident record during Songkran Festival of 2010 from Provincial Land Transport Office of Chiang Mai.

The cooperation from drivers and employees in all positions and the awareness in Prioritising safety in customers’ lives and assets are the key to safe and smooth transportation. We set checkpoints to check our staff’s readiness during the holiday period in the project called “Travel Safe with Sombat Tour”. In the trainings for drivers and bus attendants in the project “Careful Living”, we emphasize on building awareness towards duties, sense, and consciousness of staff while working. These activities are aimed to reduce the loss caused by accidents and to make passengers feel safe when traveling with us “Sombat Tour”.

Since the company has continually improved and developed our service to raise the service quality to the international standard and to build confidence for passengers traveling with Sombat Tour, the company passed the assessment of the criteria and standard of providing service in terms of buses, drivers, and administration.

The company received an award for bus service quality standard from Mr.Atsathai Rattanadilok Na Phuket, Deputy Director of Land Transport Office, on 14th September 2012 at Miracle Grand Convention Hotel.
