Ticket Cancellation and Refund
● Passenger can request for ticket cancellation/refund at Sombat Tour Ticket Counter under the conditions below:

Passenger traveling from Bangkok or Chiangmai must present the ticket with ID card at Sombat Tour Ticket Counter in person at least 3 hours before travel time on the ticket.

Passenger traveling from other provinces must present the ticket with ID card at Sombat Tour Ticket Counter in person at least 5 hours before travel time on the ticket.

Contacting Sombat Tour Counter after the time required, it shall be deemed as waiving travel right.

The ticket with change of travel information cannot be cancelled or refunded.

Cancellation/refund incurs charge for 10% of the ticket price.

Required Documents for Refund :
  • If the passenger comes in person::
    • Original physical ticket (or proof of payment).
    • Certified true copy of the passenger's passport.
  • If authorizing someone else to act on your behalf:
    • Original physical ticket (or proof of payment).
    • Certified true copy of the passenger's passport with written authorization specifying the representative's full name.
    • A copy of the ID card or passport of the authorized representative.

 
Changing Travel Information

● Passenger can request to change travel information at Sombat Tour Ticket Counter to change the name, route, date, time and/or seat number for 1 time for free under the following conditions:

Passenger traveling from Bangkok or Chiangmai must present the ticket with ID card at Sombat Tour Ticket Counter in person at least 3 hours before travel time on the ticket.

Passenger traveling from other provinces must present the ticket with ID card at Sombat Tour Ticket Counter in person at least 5 hours before travel time on the ticket.

Contacting Sombat Tour Counter after the time required, passenger cannot change the travel information.

If the new ticket has higher cost than the previous one, passenger must pay for the difference. If the new ticket has lower cost, the company will refund the difference to passenger.

The ticket with change of travel information cannot be cancelled or refunded.

Documents Required for Ticket Date Change: 
  • If the passenger (foreigner) comes in person:
    • Original and complete physical ticket, or proof of payment (if the ticket has not been issued yet).
    • Valid original passport (must not be expired).
  • If authorizing someone else to act on your behalf:
    • Original passport and a signed photocopy of the passenger’s passport (signed "Certified True Copy").
    • A written Power of Attorney on the copy of the passenger’s passport, specifying the full name of the authorized representative.
    • A copy of the ID card or passport of the authorized representative.

If the passenger misses the bus, he/she is deemed as waiving the travel right and not entitled to get refund for the paid travel fare.
