“Company” “We” “Sombat Tour” or “Bus” refers to Thep Sombat Co., Ltd. which operates Sombat Tour Bus Service.
“Luggage” refers to personal assets carried while traveling including tagged luggage (yellow tag) and untagged luggage unless it is defined otherwise.
“Luggage Tag” refers to the document issued by the company only and the company issues luggage tag.
“Tagged Luggage” refers to luggage under the company’s responsibility which is tagged by the company.
“Untagged Luggage” including handbags refers to other luggage apart from tagged luggage which is not under the company’s responsibility.
“Website” refers to www.sombattour.com organized by the company to share the news and information to passengers.
1️⃣ Enforcement
These terms and conditions are effective to all passengers and those who contact with the company since buying the ticket from the company.
These terms and conditions apply with transportation by bus of the passenger and luggage from the origin station to the destination provided according to the company’s requirements regarding transportation by bus.
2️⃣ Fares
2.1 The fare is for transportation from the origin station to the destination only. The fare rate is according to The Transport Co., Ltd.
2.2 A baby or child who can sit on an adult’s lap is not charged for the bus fare. Children with the height lower than 130 cm are charged at the half price of the fare (not including fee).
2.3 Motor insurance of 100,000 Baht per seat is provided.
3️⃣ Ticket Reservation
3.1 The passenger can book a ticket at the bus terminal and ticket agencies in each province and pay by cash or credit card. To complete the reservation, you must confirm the booking and pay at the ticket counter at least 1 day before the departure time or as required by the company.
3.2 The passenger can change the route, passenger name or travel time by confirming and paying according to item 3.1.
3.3 The passenger must pay the full fare when confirming and paying at the counter according to item 3.1. If you fail to pay the full fare, the company may cancel your booking and/or take an action as appropriate.
3.4 The passenger must provide name and other details as necessary for booking the ticket and following up.
4️⃣ Traveling
4.1 The passenger must arrive at the bus terminal or platform specified at least thirty (30) minutes before departure time.
4.2 The passenger must shown an identification to the staff Before getting on the bus. For Thai citizens, please bring the identification card ,For Foreigners, please bring a passport.(Must not expired)
4.3 If the passenger is not present at the time required and miss the bus, the ticket will not be refunded.
5️⃣ Travel Declination
5.1 For safety reason, Sombat Tour may decline to transport the passenger or luggage if the company finds that:
- it is necessary to do so for safety reason;
- it is necessary to do so in order to follow the law and regulations;
- The passenger’s behavior, status, age, or mental and physical state or the luggage condition seems to cause danger or damage to the passenger themselves or to other passengers or seems objectionable.
- The passenger has not paid the fare.
6️⃣ Luggage
6.1 Items not accepted as luggage
- The item that is not packed in an appropriate bag or package for safe transport.
- The item that may be harmful to the bus, person, or assets on the bus.
- Drugs
- The item which, under the company’s discretion, is not appropriate for transport due to the weight, size or feature of such item.
- Gun, gunpowder and ammunition
6.2 No animals are allowed on board.
6.3 The passenger can bring 2 pieces of luggage with the maximum weight of 25 kg.
6.4 Tagged luggage is under the responsibility of the company.
6.5 The passenger is allowed to carry untagged luggage on board provided that it can fit the compartment. In case the carry-on luggage is overweight or too big, it must be kept under the bus.
6.6 In case that the luggage under the bus is lost or damaged, the company shall pay the indemnity for not over 500 Baht in total.
